So I got the orange and green one on Ebay.
You can see the color better without the flash.
Then I saw the blue and green one. HAD TO HAVE IT.
They are adorable - maybe 3 inches in diameter.
Well, you know who wanted to "help" open the package when the blue one came.
She wanted to "hold" it.
Brilliant me let her.
It slipped right through her fingers and crashed onto the cold tile floor.
Yup - glass front shattered to a million pieces.
I screamed.
She cried.
We took it to the clock repair shop.
We picked it up this weekend.
I made Anna Lee take her piggy bank to help pay for the repair.

Yes, she IS wearing slippers. We had just finished ballet. I refuse to let her wear her ballet slippers outside. (Yes, she has asked)
