Jersey Girl

Cresskill circle

Demarest duck pond (where your famous picture was taken, Ingi)

Yankees can sniff each other out, especially in the Heart of Dixie. Had a business associate visit today from Lehman Brothers. Turns out he is from Teaneck. Used to run track into Bergenfield. He said something about the Cresskill circle. I think we are related... He is a member of the tribe.

Miss Jersey, sometimes. SOB!

Shorts are for boys

Time to get the girls spring wardrobes.
Anna Lee informed me that "girls wear pretty dresses, shorts are for boys".
Oh no! FLASHBACK
Sara did the same thing. Refused to wear anything but dresses from the age of 2-5.
Even when it was cold. Very cold.
So we went to Target to find some dresses.
Apparently, we can't get a dress unless it is.... you guessed it, PINK!
All pink, no patterns, even if the pattern has pink in it.
So... we did not get any dresses. Just a bathing suit and summer PJs.
At bath time, she realized we did not get any dresses.
This is her, attempting to make a sad face, because we did not buy "a pitty dress".

Princess Leia?

Sara is experimenting with her hair for the perfect style for her Bat Mitzvah.
I like this one.

Why does she color on things?

Left Anna Lee alone for too long, she got bored and found a highlighter...

Theses are receipts and business cards, she colored all the words and numbers, very precisely.

Fake crying after getting a spanking.

I am now the mother of a teenager

Yes, Sara is 13. When did that happen?

The hat is already too small, and I only bought it last year - curse of the big-headed Crowe's...

I love this picture, you can see Anna Lee peeking from under the blindfold.

Ah, yes, CHOCOLATE.

What is with the Pool?

I forgot, Ron found a dead baby possum in the pool Wednesday morning. He says that we get "wildlife" because we are near a golf course. I think the pool is cursed...

Sorry, Eric, no pictures.

Crazy in Alabama

Some of the landmarks on the way to Birmingham from Montgomery.

Huge Confederate flag. Monument for Sons of Confederate Veterans.

This is my favorite. It says "Go to Church, or the Devil will get you!"

putt putt

Sara had a youth group event at a small local amusement park. I took Anna Lee to play putt putt golf while Sara played paintball. I'm not sure she understood the concept, but had fun sitting on the rocks that marked the holes and crawling on the greens.

Ronnie's butt, not mine!

This is Anna Lee pretending to be Winnie the Pooh with a honey pot stuck on his head.
