Craps!

Got a princess Perler bead set on sale at Hobby Lobby.
Kept us entertained for hours on Sunday.
Anna Lee is still a little young to follow the patterns, so she supervised while I arranged the beads. She did a great job finding pink beads for me.

Sara got a stained glass craft.
Anna Lee supervised her as well.

I started getting cross-eyed when I got to the carriage, so the castle & the carriage are not done yet.
The ponies had no pattern, I had to copy the picture. Sara thinks I should have come up with my own design.
I bumped the blue pony when carrying it to be ironed. Had to do it all over. Doh!

Shopping & Ice Cream

Daddy was out of town this weekend.
Translation - girly shopping time!

Got mostly unmentionables for the teenager.

Pink Sorbet for the Princess, along with a new scarf.

Yum!

Classic Mint Chocolate Chip for the teenager in shades.

More new shoes. Don't tell Daddy!

P.S. Notice that Anna Lee is wearing a bracelet, ring, and anklet. Very into the bling right now. Yes, we have a PINK jewelry box!

Fallen Princesses

What if it wasn't "Happily Ever After?"

I love Jasmine's pink camo.
Snow White's prince needs a beer, though.

This has got to be one of the coolest gift ideas ever.
I collected a whole bunch of images of Anna Lee & Ron and turned them into cartoons at

http://www.befunky.com/

Uploaded the cartoon images to

Snapfish.com

Added some cute captions. Made a bound flip book for $4.95.

Cute, Cute, Cute!!

Ummm... he kinda teared up... a... little... tiny ... bit.

Not cried. No, never.

Princesses

All Anna Lee wanted to do was see the Princesses at Disney. We even got her an autograph book. She was so happy.
Disney does nothing half-way. They now have professional photographers and issue a photo card to you so you can order pictures online of your Princess visits.
$12.95 a pop.
The princesses were so awesome and in character. I'm sure they seemed real to her. They must learn how to sign their names in a particular way - each signature seemed to fit the character. What a memory!
We also saw Mary Poppins, but I don't have a picture.
My step-son asked her for her phone #.
Wonder if Disney allows Princess fraternization?

Oh, yea, I forgot to mention.
Those are just my photos, not the professional ones. Will post the pro ones as soon as I pay $150 for the CD.
Anna Lee only had her socks on (it was HOT, remember?).
At the end of the visit, they informed us that is was not the "Disney look" to have no shoes on (due to safety issues) and some of the pictures MIGHT be deleted.
They were.
Thanks for waiting until the END of the shoot to tell us!!!
Anyway, that is why the Princesses all have their dress over Anna Lee's feet. They must have known about the no-shoe-deletion policy.
So, I am defiantly posting a picture of my child sans shoes! Eat it, Disney!

Cousins at Disney

My lovely Mother-in-Law treated the kids to a Disney visit.
Our niece Zoe is here from Connecticut.
She and Anna Lee are 10 months apart.
They love each other.
...Most of the time....

It was so HOT, I tried to put their hair up. I can't do hair.

They just bought identical Ariel dolls. For the low, low price of $22.99. EACH!

More later.

Thrifting fun

When Ingrid came last week, we went to a huge thrift store outside of Birmingham.
Got lots of treasures.
Ingi found me a Coach purse for $20 . Got some clothes, sandals, and cleats for the girls.

But this was the mother lode.....

I huge Superman action figure, with curl.
I am hanging him from the ceiling, flying.

New Shoes

Got these for Anna Lee last week. She hates wearing socks and loves girly sparkly. These have a moisture-wicking and odor resistant interior. Perfect!
They are covered in beads.

FANCY!

Ballet Recital

Catching up on posting pictures.
Ron restored my laptop (new memory & hard drive), so it is not functioning at a snails pace anymore.

"Creative Movement" (Pre-Ballet?) finished with a "recital". Girlies got to dress up and show us their stuff. Anna Lee only has two other children in her class.
