Even more soccer pics

There is a whole lot of hugging, crying, and throwing grass at this age.
That is my job as assistant coach: hug them, wipe their tears, take them to the bathroom, keep them from swinging on the goal and climbing the net, tie their shoes, beg them to stay in the game and play.... etc., etc.

See the child in the back picking grass?

Trophy shot. I also have a pink trophy waiting for our team party.

Converse are not what they used to be

Ronnie bought these seriously cool leather Converse sneakers for me for our anniversary.
I was wearing a "pitty dress" and sexy, uncomfortable shoes to dinner at a restaurant in Eastchase, so after dinner, he got me some new kicks so we could walk around and shop, sans kids. The way to a woman's heart for sure!

Collecting acorns

Anna Lee collected some acorns to give to Ron for a birthday present. She could not keep it a secret until next week. She made him a card, then had him write his name on it. He had to write "Ronnie", not Daddy.

Easter in Converse

Had to force Sara to dress up for Easter - she still wore her new sneakers "because of the ants." Oh well...

Sara's Birthday

Had to make a cake out of ice cream since it was Passover. Sara picked the flavors - Strawberry & Mint chocolate chip - not a very good combo. I added Marshmellow fluff in the middle. Was going to do a chocolate matzoh layer, but ran out of time. Anna Lee insisted it was her birthday, too. So I made her a small pink cake and got her some lip gloss. See Anna Lee putting some on Sara? Ron got her a basket of girly stuff from a local goat farm- perfume, lotion, etc. She loved it. Can't believe she is 14!

Soccer Jersey

The Jersey alone was worth the $30 registration fee.Look at that smile! It's all about the equipment...

A Christmas "t"

Driving Anna Lee to school this morning. Someone had a cross on their lawn with lights on it.
Anna Lee: Look Momma, a Christmas "t"!

Cute/funny? Poor little Jewish girl has no idea what a cross is...

Easter pics coming soon...

Grandpa's chair.

Finally had Grandma & Grandpa's chair recovered. It was a light pink / peach pattern and it was in their living room. Looks much better, don't you think?

Painting the breakfast nook the middle color.
Tiffany box blue.
It is going to look crazy with my red chairs and blue Orangina poster.
FUNKY!
Hope it all works, guess I can just paint over it if not...
